**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our team at our site based in Fyshwick ACT 2609. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide strong leadership through exceptional organisation skills, setting clear direction, role clarity and performance expectations for your team
- Partner with the Booking in teams to ensure the efficient operation of the asset cycle from received, booked in, stored, delivered and through a rectification process if required
- Coordinate training and revision sessions for operational staff to ensure efficient and productive performance when executing specific Vendor procedures.
- Promotes and maintains good working relationships with buyers, local vendors and delivery drivers and assisting with enquiries on the ground
- Ensure WHS standards are upheld and managed as per WHS policies
- Monitor and manage stock location, stock audits, vehicle movements and workflow
- Oversee all operations including security and site maintenance at the site
- Deliver outstanding service to all vendors and buyers
- Team with management and site staff to achieve the KPIs for the site
**ABOUT YOU**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record in operations, ideally with experience in the Auction or automotive industries
- Self-motivated with a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Adaptable and flexible in fast paced environments
- Ability to engage and motivate a team with strong people management skills
- Competent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent MS Office skills and the ability to learn our user-friendly auction system
- Demonstrated understanding of WH&S; regulations
- Current/Valid manual Driver's licence
- Current/Valid Forklift licence
