Group Treasury Analyst / Senior Analyst

Key areas of support
* Balance Sheet & Capital Management: maintain a strong and efficient balance sheet, support business growth, deliver on capital management strategy and initiatives.
* Balance Sheet Efficiency & Resilience: optimise the balance sheet, ensure resilience across liquidity, funding and capital, deliver advanced analytics such as stress testing, scenario analysis and forecasting for strategic decision‐making and regulatory compliance.
As an Analyst/Senior Analyst you will contribute to the development and execution of financial models, create actionable insights, and provide reporting that directly informs Treasury strategy.
Qualifications
* 1-5 years of experience; banking or financial services experience is preferable but not essential.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial insights.
* Experience in financial modelling, forecasting or data analytics, including SQL and one of Python, R or SAS.
* Practical understanding of the balance sheet within a banking or financial services environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking.
* Stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
* Shows initiative, curiosity and prioritisation skills.
* Higher tertiary education in a related field (Commerce, Law, Finance, Actuarial, Financial Mathematics, Financial Statistics, etc.).
* Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
