At APM, we are committed to supporting our clients in their journey to return to work and return to life after physical or psychological injury. As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in helping them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Completing office-based and vehicle ergonomic assessments
* Activities of Daily Living assessments for equipment or household services prescription
* Conducting worksite assessments to interpret the physical demands and environment your client may work in and to understand what duties they can complete to achieve their short-term and long-term return-to-work goals
* Completing functional capacity evaluations
* Collaborating with other health practitioners (including other Allied Health professionals, GPs and Surgeons) through case conferencing
* Organising rehabilitation activities for your client including Pilates, Hydrotherapy etc.
Requirements:
* A passion for delivering high-quality care and support to clients
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
