We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS). The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in environmental analytical chemistry, developing sensitive methods and interpreting high-resolution mass spectrometry data.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conducting independent research under the guidance of senior academic staff
* Developing sensitive methods with excellent quality control
* Interpreting high-resolution mass spectrometry data
* Conducting MS/MS experiments and quantifying or semi-quantifying analytes in complex samples

Requirements:
* PhD in a relevant field

Benefits:
The base salary for this role will be between $82,057 - $136,048 (Academic Level A or B) + 17% Superannuation. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
