Fire Protection Services WA (FPSWA) is a leading industry expert in the design and installation of fire detection and associated systems. We are seeking self-motivated and reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and a proactive attitude for a full-time position in our existing business structure as a fire alarm installation / commissioning technician.
Examples of expected tasks and duties for this role:
* Examining and testing equipment to diagnose faults.
* Adjusting, repairing and replacing faulty parts or defects to maintain equipment.
* Installation of Fire detection systems and equipment.
* Applying knowledge of electrical, mechanical and fire detection principles while commissioning and maintaining control systems.
To be successful in this role, the following is required:
* A strong work ethic and proactive attitude
* Enthusiasm towards personal development to expand your existing skillset and knowledge within our sector
* People skills to work effectively as part of a team and assist with successful outcomes when dealing with colleagues, associated trades, and clients
* Certificate III or equivalent qualification - Minimum 3 years industry experience in lieu of qualifications.
* Minimum of 1 year industry experience withing the previous 5 years.

* An existing track record, inclusive of experience in large tier 1 construction projects
* ACA installer's license/electrical license or accredited overseas equivalent
* White Card (High-risk work/EWP license also preferable)

* Programming knowledge of all major fire systems
