Thisis a Fixed Term Full-Time and/or Fixed Term Part-Time appointment. We currently have 1 FTE (76 hours per fortnight) available for immediate start.

Currently we are seeking a Pharmacy Trainee Technician to join our team.


Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the dispensing of prescriptions, preparing aseptic and non-aseptic compounded pharmaceuticals, pharmacy inventory management, distribution and imprest services to clinical areas and related clerical and stores procedures.
* Trainee technicians are required to rotate throughout different functional areas of the pharmacy to perform the full range of duties.

Eligibility

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Background Checks

Selection Process

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
