About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a superstar Receptionist to be one of the friendly faces of our Broadbeach clinic. This is a casual position offering approximately 10–18 hours per week, with shifts available Monday through Saturday, including regular Saturday work.
Working as part of a supportive admin team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our patients and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a team environment, and loves creating a positive patient experience.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Welcoming patients and managing front desk check-in
* Answering phone and email enquiries
* Booking appointments and managing clinician diaries
* Processing payments via HICAPS, EFTPOS, and Medicare
* Managing referrals, correspondence, and patient records
* End-of-day reconciliation and general admin support
* Supporting clinicians and contributing to a smooth clinic flow
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a friendly, organised, and reliable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’ll bring:
* A positive, can-do attitude and team-focused approach
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
* Confidence using computers and practice management systems (Gensolve or similar highly regarded)
* Availability across weekdays and Saturdays, with flexibility for shifts between approximately 7:30am – 6:00pm
* Previous medical or allied health reception experience (highly regarded but not essential)
