Key Responsibilities
Conduct the servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Regional Group equipment including trucks, dozers, graders, compactors, rollers, excavators, and posi-tracks.
Work within workshop rules and regulations at all times.
Liaise with direct managers, supervisors and managers daily.
Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults.
Work to tight schedules whilst maintaining the highest standards.
Adopt and continue with Lean practices to ensure quality and cost efficiency with all repairs and maintenance.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
Current driver's licence (HR preferred but not essential).
Fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
Confident in all aspects of plant repairs.
Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions.
Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes and suspension.
Basic auto-electrical knowledge.
Competent with computers and digital diagnostics.
Outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done.
Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
A team player who is action focused and result-oriented, who quickly comes up to speed on repairs and priority breakdowns.
Ability to work flexible hours.
