Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in hazardous environments due to flammable gases, vapors or dust at our manufacturing site in Padstow, South West Sydney.
* Ensure safe operation of electrical systems in high-risk areas with a deep understanding of safety regulations, specialized equipment and industry best practices.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults on PLC-controlled systems, motors and control circuits.
* Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
* Install, test and commission electrical systems and components as required.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and update asset management systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to reliability and efficiency projects.
