The Role
We are seeking a talented Viola tutor to join our passionate strings team starting immediately. You will be an accomplished and qualified cello performer looking to join a team that values collaboration and growth.
This casual position involves approximately 4 hours per week of private tuition during term weeks. The role includes a particular focus on supporting the Year 7 Instrumental Program, on Fridays from 8:15 am – 12:45 pm, as well as teaching on one additional day of your choosing at our Caulfield campus.
There is scope to contribute to the wider Strings program, including participation in the Ensemble Program and supporting the development of cello ensembles.
You will be confident in building positive relationships with students and staff, and you will enjoy rewarding students in their individual cello lessons.
Key Duties

* Collaborate with the Head of Strings to enhance the school's music program

Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience tutoring cello within a school music program
* Capacity to engage and inspire secondary aged students
* Willingness to contribute to the Strings program, including ensemble involvement
* Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check
