About the role
As an Intensive Therapeutic Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing holistic support to young people in need. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with young people who are experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological difficulties. Through your expertise in therapeutic intervention and case management, you will help guide them towards improved mental well‐being, self‐esteem, and life skills.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with Children & Young People in out of home care and an understanding of trauma and its effects on children and young people.
Hours of work are 8:30 am – 5 pm. There will be a requirement to participate in the on‐call roster, two days a fortnight from 5 pm to 9 am the following morning (subject to change based on business requirements). The candidate will receive an on‐call allowance.
The successful candidate will also conduct weekly home visits across the Western region (Orange, Dubbo, and Bathurst). A tool of trade will be provided.
Role Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
