About The Role
The Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology is responsible for providing holistic care to their patients with gastroenterological conditions through the recognition of symptoms, diagnosis, and managing the conditions alongside patients and their families.
On any given day, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for triaging gastroenterology referrals; conducting bowel cancer screenings; using their advanced clinical knowledge to prescribe appropriate medications; and taking part of research projects to optimise patient care.

You won't be working alone.
You will be supported by the Nurse Manager of the Interventional & Ambulatory Care, the Director of Gastroenterology, Deputy Director of Nursing as well as the Gastroenterologists.

Requirements
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and current endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
Additional Information
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent or temporary part-time vacancies.
To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
