About the Role
NACCHO is seeking a Senior Project Officer Medicines Policy and Programs to lead and manage nationally significant medicines initiatives.
Youll coordinate the Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Academy promote Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) resources and support other medicines-related programs and policy advice as needed.
You will work closely with advisory groups sector stakeholders and internal teams to ensure projects are strategic culturally appropriate and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project strategy and operations aligned with contractual obligations.
Coordinate advisory groups and steering committees.
Develop communication strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage staff contributing to QUM projects.
Prepare reports and updates for funders and stakeholders.
Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
Qualifications & Experience
Tertiary qualifications in health or a related field or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples (highly desirable).
Skills & Capabilities
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Proven stakeholder engagement and leadership experience.
Contract management expertise.
High-level understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures health issues and the Community Controlled Health Sector.
