* Base Salary $156,103 (pro rata) + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Senior Research Fellow in women's reproductive health with a focus on the field of preconception care to join a research project, led by Professor Kirsten Black in the Sydney Medical School of the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health. This role is part of SPHERE 2.0 the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Women's Reproductive Health in Primary Care.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

* Work within the CRE SPHERE 2.0 to support and develop research in the field of preconception care
* Identifying gaps, needs and targets for new interventions in the field of preconception care in primary care
* Attract and supervise HDR students working in women's reproductive health.
* Contribute to postgraduate teaching in preconception care.

About you

* PhD in Medicine with a focus on women's reproductive health
* acknowledged at a national level as influential in expanding knowledge within the field of preconception health
* has an established network of relationships with key academic, industry and professional institutions, partners and stakeholders that can be leveraged to enhance the standing of the discipline, School/ Faculty and University
* demonstrated excellence in research, scholarly activities relevant to the discipline
* significant experience in supervising others and coordinating team activities.
