THE POSITION
* Assist the Head Chef stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring & trainingby supervising, and
* Monitor and oversee the food production and menu-based catering on site
* Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene,safetyand cleanliness
* Using first class produce, ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
* Deliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experience
* Thursday to Monday roster, including weekends- 3 breakfast shifts / 2 dinner shifts (between5.00am to 11.00pm)
THE PERSON
* Minimum certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Previous leadership experience and enjoys creating a positive work culture
* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavours.
* Available to work a range of hours including weekends and public holidays
* Knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP regulations
* Driven with a creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation
** Successful candidatewill be required to pass an ASIC security clearance as part of the onboarding process
