About the role
Join the team at Cootes Quarry Products as a full-time day shift Truck Driver based in Pakenham, Victoria. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customers throughout mainly the South-East and Gippsland area.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operate a Kenworth truck and dog with electric tarps
* Load and unload vehicles at customer sites and quarry locations
* Provide excellent customer service to clients
* Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
* Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company safety policies
* Complete accurate delivery paperwork and documentation
What we're looking for
* A valid unrestricted heavy rigid (HR) or heavy combination (HC) driver's licence
* Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles and conducting deliveries
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Good communication and customer service skills
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* A strong work ethic and reliability
