Vial is a hyper-scalable biotech company advancing programs into the clinic by leveraging dramatically cheaper trials and computationally designed therapeutics.
Our mission is to reimagine drug development in order to cure all human diseases. We have assembled a talented team of clinical operators, chemists, and innovative thinkers to achieve this vision.
Vial is fully remote and was founded by Simon Burns in October 2020. Since our founding, we have grown rapidly to a team of 50+ employees with over $100 million in funding from leading investors including General Catalyst, Box Group, and Byers Capital.

What You'll Do
Reporting into Vial Operations, we are seeking a Medical Officer to join our team working on early-phase clinical trials. This role is pivotal in the Vial mission of making early stage Clinical Research an efficient, high quality engine and will play a critical role in bringing new life changing medicine to the market The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a high patient load and driving first in human trials to ensure the success of Vial therapeutics programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and maintain responsibility for the conduct of clinical trials
* Manage patient care and monitor patient safety
* Collaborate with Vial Leadership and Site Lead for site success
* Monitor and report on patient safety and overall status of clinical trials
What You'll Bring
* Full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
* Part time roles require - availability to work 3 to 5 days per week across a 7-day roster
* Passion for Clinical Research/Research and Development
* Strong skills in time management, documentation, and patient care.
* Ability to make fast decisions without sacrificing the data quality of the study.
* Experience with regulatory compliance for Clinical Trials.
* Demonstrated success in scaling a clinical practice.
