We are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Support Specialist to join our team in a warehouse environment. The successful candidate will provide technical support, ensure the smooth operation of warehouse information and communication technology systems, and contribute to the efficient use of applications, systems, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to technical problems within the warehouse environment.
* Respond promptly to inquiries about software and hardware problems from warehouse staff.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve ICT-related issues, either in person or remotely.
* Repair and replace peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, scanners, and modems.
* Install, download, configure, and update appropriate software required for warehouse operations (e.g., inventory systems, scanning devices, dispatch software).
* Adapt existing programs and systems to meet specific user or warehouse operational requirements.
* Ensure the efficient and effective use of applications, systems, and equipment by providing training and support to staff.
* Maintain, monitor, and ensure the reliability of computers, mobile devices, RF scanners, printers, and other ICT equipment used in warehouse operations.
* Conduct regular system checks, backups, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
* Implement, maintain, and support the warehouse's computer networks, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and communication systems.
* Ensure network availability, security, and optimal performance across the warehouse facility.
* Assist with designing, updating, and maintaining internal or external websites as required.
* Support digital platforms used for communication, reporting, or warehouse management.
