About the role
Graphic Packaging International Australia Converting Ltd' is seeking a full-time Printer to join our team at our Braeside facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. As an integral part of our production team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our printing processes.
Ability to work shift work is essential.
What you'll be doing
* Operate and maintain commercial offset printing equipment
* Monitor printing processes and perform quality checks to ensure consistent, high-quality output
* Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues, making necessary adjustments to equipment
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment
* Collaborate with the production team to optimise printing workflows and meet production targets
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Printer or in a similar role within the cartonboard printing industry
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of offset printing equipment
* Experience with sheet-fed offset printing equipment is required
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and job specifications
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Must have Australian work rights
