These roles span across Cloud, Wintel, Linux, and Network engineering disciplines, contributing to the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance digital research environments. The successful Multi-Domain Engineers will be offered a contract until 30 June 2026, with extension options available, and will work onsite at either Edinburgh, SA or Fisherman’s Bend, VIC. Responsibilities
Deploying, managing, and maintaining infrastructure across cloud, Windows, Linux, and network platforms Supporting virtualisation, automation, and orchestration technologies Implementing hardened COE environments and patching strategies Designing and configuring secure network and firewall solutions Troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in one or more domains: Cloud (on-prem), Wintel, Linux, or Network Engineering Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) Experience with VMware, Active Directory, SCCM, Ansible, Satellite, Cisco, Palo Alto Familiarity with DevOps, COE development, and secure system design Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Linux) highly desirable This is a outstanding opportunity with a leading Federal Government Agency to join an established and friendly team!
