Comet Bay College is an independent public school located in Secret Harbour, offering high‐quality facilities and a range of specialist programs, including an Australian Football Specialist Programme and Visual & Performing Arts classes for Years 7‐10. The College seeks a passionate, qualified Drama Teacher to support and expand the Drama Learning Area and promote the school's Performing Arts profile.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver drama lessons for Years 7‐12 in alignment with the WA Curriculum and WACE Practical & Performing Arts courses.
* Expand and strengthen the Drama Learning Area, supporting whole‐school musical productions.
* Foster a positive, active learning environment that encourages continual improvement.
* Prepare students for outstanding outcomes in drama and related media courses.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment.
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before commencing.
* consent to and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
