We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the Central Queensland team.
The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and maintain confidentiality when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and administration of accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Processing and reviewing timesheets
* Banking, credit card payments, petty cash, cheque book and payment processing
* Support to store managers in Rockhampton, Emerald, Gladstone, and Yeppoon
* General office duties and other functions as requested by store managers
Requirements:
2-3 years' general accounting experience
Good knowledge of general accounting principles and compliance requirements
Good knowledge of relevant accounting software
Proficient in data entry and management
Microsoft Excel experience mandatory
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective organisational and time management skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to work as a team member
