What are you going to do
* Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on diesel and gas engines, generators, and power systems on remote project sites.
* Travel to site on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, supporting both scheduled maintenance and urgent breakdowns.
* Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions in the field.
* Complete preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and optimise performance.
* Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with off-site teams.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Essential skills and knowledge
* Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or similar.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with engines or rotating equipment.
* Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision.
* Problem-solving mindset and commitment to safety.
* Willingness to upskill with OEM-endorsed power generation training.
* Valid driver's licence and the ability to pass pre-employment checks.
