Senior Waste Management Liaison Specialist

About the Role:
This is a key position within our organization that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage waste services during Light Rail developments. As a Senior Waste Management Liaison Specialist, you will work closely with external stakeholders to ensure the continuity and safety of waste services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing and monitoring waste services, conducting site inspections, and providing quotations for waste collection services. They will also be expected to deliver effective customer service, investigate and resolve customer complaints, and support the development of safety systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Audit and monitor waste services to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including contractors and customers.
* Deliver timely and effective customer service, responding to enquiries and resolving complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
* Support the development of safety systems, processes, and reporting tools to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science or equivalent and relevant experience.
* Relative demonstrated experience in a similar role and possess strong stakeholder liaison and communication skills.
* Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent and relevant experience.
* Driver's Licence Class C Unrestricted.
* Construction Induction (White Card).
