What work will you do?
In addition to what's mentioned above, you will:
• Provide advice and support on employment law and workplace relations matters
• Draft, review and negotiate employment-related documentation
• Work closely with HR and Workplace Relations teams on complex workforce issues
• Support the management of employment disputes and litigation
• Assist with regulatory and compliance matters affecting the workforce
• Manage external legal counsel where required
What type of person will be successful?
• Admitted as a solicitor in Australia
• 5+ years experience in employment law and workplace relations
• Private practice or in-house background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with senior stakeholders
• Pragmatic, collaborative and commercially minded approach
• A willingness to work in a large, complex and unionised environment
