Perma Products has come a long way from sticky hooks — now spanning child safety, pet accessories, and global retail partnerships with Bunnings, Walmart, ALDI and more. As they expand beyond bricks-and-mortar into direct-to-consumer and US channels, they’re looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to lead the charge on NPD and category growth.
You’ll own the Perma Stick portfolio – removable adhesive and hanging solutions – driving everything from category planning and range reviews to consumer research, competitive benchmarking, and new product development.
What you’ll do:
- Build and deliver a category growth strategy based on data, consumer insight and retail performance.
- Partner with sales, design, and supply to develop commercially viable, innovative products.
- Lead range reviews with key retailers and help transition products from idea to shelf.
- Benchmark competitors, analyse trends, and identify market opportunities for expansion.
- Work cross-functionally to guide NPD through a structured innovation process – from ideation to launch.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in product/category management, ideally in FMCG, hardware or home improvement.
- Strength in commercial analysis, pricing and NPD processes.
- Customer-first mindset with creativity, curiosity and initiative.
- Confidence in navigating retail environments and engaging with buyers and supply partners.
