Financial Systems Analyst - Limited Tenure

About the role
City of Darwin requires an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to join us in a limited tenure capacity for an approximate 1-year contract. This position will be responsible for generation and enhancement of financial reporting, financial systems and integration with other systems and business processes. The role will proactively assist with process improvement, delivering efficiencies through system enhancements and will ensue effective integration with other council systems and resolve users issues.
Key objectives and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Serve as the primary Finance Team contact and subject matter expert for all queries relating to CoD financial systems.
* Assist with the delivery of financial reporting and planning, primarily through generation and analysis of supporting data, inputs and reports across the organisation.
* Provide specialist professional and technical expertise, advice and support to the business to develop and enhancereporting and assist with the achievement of financial oversight, management and compliance.
* Assist with preparation of City of Darwin's Annual Budget Process and Reviews.

To be successful in this role, you must have: -
* Bachelor/Degree in Accounting or ICT or relevant discipline, or demonstrated commensurate technical industry experience
* A minimum of four (4 years) experience in a similar role
* Ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check
* Class C Driver's Licence
