Verve is partnering with an Australian owned independent company servicing the mining industry. They are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team in Beresfield on a part time, permanent basis.
You will be working in the finance team supporting the accounts payable function.
Work anywhere from 20-25 hours a week across 4 or 5 days. This company provides a hybrid working arrangement for their employees, allowing for the successful applicant to work 2 days at home (if desired) once a period of training has been completed.
**You'll be responsible for**:
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and coding items
- Reviewing and following up EOM statements
- Communicate with suppliers
**Essentially, you'll have**:
- Have experience in accounts payable
- Able to keep up with a volume of approx 130 invoices per week
- Be confident to communicate internally to resolve issues
- High attention to detail and sound time management skills
- Must be willing to go through a pre-employment medical
