Mobile Occupational Therapy Role
This role offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based services to people through various service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services.
You will assess and provide interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities, working within the NDIS to maximise clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement.
As a therapist, you will work independently, managing a varied caseload and meeting company professional expectations.
The role is mobile, with the option to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assessing and providing interventions for clients with disabilities
* Working within the NDIS to achieve optimal client outcomes
* Providing recommendations on assistive technology to support clients
* Documenting client progress and writing reports in a timely manner
* Managing multiple priorities and deadlines
* Meeting quality and productivity standards
New Graduate Program
We offer a tailored New Graduate Program to support recent graduates in their transition to the workplace. The program spans 12 months and includes regular supervision, core competency skills training, group mentoring, and more.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy
* Registration with AHPRA/SPA
* Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Police Check and International Police Check (if applicable)
* Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
