We're seeking a passionate, driven and experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Melbourne store. In this key role, you'll work alongside the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience, build and develop a motivated and knowledgeable team and contribute to the ongoing success of our retail operations. We're looking for a hands on leader who leads by example, inspires their team and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

About the role:
Support the Store Manager in leading and motivating a passionate retail team
Creating and maintaining a positive, high performance team culture
Driving store performance against sales and KPI targets
Assisting with day to day store operations, including but not limited to sales, returns, rostering, inventory and cash handling
Coaching and empowering team members to deliver exceptional customer service
Supporting marketing initiatives and promotional events
Helping execute visual merchandising and maintaining high store presentation standards
Inspiring customers with your product knowledge and passion for marine sports and the marine environment
Championing safety, security and adherence to company policies
Acting as an ambassador for Adreno in store and within the broader ocean loving community
Engaging with the diving community through social and educational events
About you:
You have a minimum of 1 year of management or leadership experience in a high volume environment
You have previous experience or knowledge in scuba diving, spearfishing, freediving or surfing (preferable)
You're fun, energetic, approachable and love talking about all things diving, spearfishing or surfing with a genuine passion for the ocean and the water sports lifestyle
You thrive in a team environment and naturally motivate others
You're proactive, solutions focused, detail oriented and lead by example
You're committed to creating a memorable customer experience every time
You bring initiative, adaptability and a strong sense of responsibility
You have strong communication and organisational skills
You can multi task and work in a fast paced environment
You must have current Australian work authorisation at the time of application
