POSITION PURPOSE:
The Account Executive's role is to service & audit Diversey customers, allowing the sales team to develop and manage a specific territory as a business unit to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
SCOPE/COVERAGE:
Account management of key accounts in and around Whitsunday area to Central Queensland, Mt Isa.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Thorough planning and organization, manage the performance of a designated sales territory, strive for growth through continuous improvement in sales performance by focusing on key activities and relationships.- Immediately advise the State Sales Manager, in writing, of any activities or events likely to impact on Diversey business, ensuring full investigation and reporting. These would include product complaints, chemical spillage or accidents, competitor activity, customer complaints and consistent equipment failure.- Service existing accounts as per the service requirements established by management ensuring all Diversey products and equipment are maintained in a safe and practical working order.- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customers' premises to keep equipment fully operational.- Plan and coordinate installations.- Remove equipment from customers' premises where customer has ceased buying product from Diversey.- Complete necessary documentation as required. Ensure all required reports are submitted on schedule including stock counts, Activity Based Pricing and laundry counts.- Establish standards of safe work practices and hygiene and ensure appropriate safety equipment and clothing are worn, and work in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of Diversey and relevant outside authorities.- Train Diversey personnel or customer's personnel on use of company products, machine, occupational health and safety aspects when required ensuring complete documentation as required.- Ensure customers receive Safety Data Sheets, Product Information & Risk Assessments (where applicable) wall charts and conduct and document all formal and on-the-job training sessions as per customers' requirements.- Attend customers' premises to repair equipment where there is a reported incidence of breakdown.- Provide technical help and advice to customers and Diversey employees- Ensure CRM system is maintained and updated regularly- Maintain Field Test Kit in a serviceable manner, restocking expired or contaminated reagent or equipment where necessary.
REPORTING
The role will provide regular reports as directed by the supervisor. This will include, but will not be limited to:
- Complete Service schedules as per 20 Day Planner & complete weekly & monthly service reports accurately & submit this to State Sales Manager. Daily recording will be used via IMAP.- Regular submission of Service and Training Reports and any other reports as requested the Supervisor and Company management.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Ensure compliance to company policy including business ethics policy, Employee Health and Safety policy and guidelines, car policy, travel and expense policy, mobile phone policy etc
2. If driving a company motor vehicle ensure the vehicle is operated and serviced within the company car policy guidelines.
3. Comply with travel and expense policy, policy for use for mobile phones, computers and all other company assets in the possession of the employee..
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSON PROFILE
Required- Demonstrated experience in a similar role- Demonstrated experience in account management- Technical Service industry experience- Relationship building skills- Relevant hygiene/ cleaning chemical sector or experience in the hospitality industry (kitchen/ housekeeping/laundry)- Basic Chemical understanding- Good understanding of Chemical Handling and related OHS requirements- Equipment calibration experience (industrial dishwashers, dispensers, laundry etc)- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills- Good mechanical aptitude- Intermediate computer skills (Word/Excel, Powerpoint)- Experience with Electronic data readers and product usage tracking.
