As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role as part of cross‐functional projects delivering process improvement outcomes, implementation of customer changes and ensuring compliance to quality requirements.
Snapshot of the role
* Provide technical support to manufacturing functions
* View and interrogate customer models and specifications to gather requirements for creation of detailed procedures and processes
* Use of ERP system to construct work orders and Bill of Materials (BOMs) from information contained in customer specifications and requirements
* Support manufacturing operations to identify and implement process improvements
* Root cause analysis of production problems and implementation of robust corrective actions
* Provide operational support to company assets e.g. XY cutting machine, laser projectors, ovens, autoclaves etc.
* Maintain configuration of planning documents and their release to operations
* Assess changes to customer designs and specifications and implement changes in the manufacturing process
* Production aid design and implementation
* All other duties and responsibilities as appropriate
What we are looking for
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Basic knowledge of CAD Systems (CATIA V5 ideal)
* Aerospace/Production Engineering experience with products made from composite materials is desired but not essential
