We are seeking a full-time bricklayer on Lindeman Island, QLD.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesLay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to build walls, foundations, and other structures.Measure, cut, and shape bricks or other materials to fit specified designs and plans.Construct and install brickwork for homes, commercial buildings, and other types of construction.Mix mortar and apply it to brick surfaces for adhesion and durability.Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment using tools like levels, plumb lines, and hammers.Repair and maintain existing brickwork, ensuring long-term structural integrity.Work with a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.Follow safety protocols on-site and ensure the safety of others.Preferred Skills and ExperienceWhite Card (Construction Induction Card)Relevant qualification in Bricklaying or MasonryAt least 2 years’ relevant work experience as a BricklayerAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction plansStrong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skillsPhysically fit and able to handle the demands of manual laborJob Benefits and PerksBecome part of a well-established and respected companyCompetitive salary and opportunity for career growthFull-time, stable employment with ongoing workWork in a supportive and team-oriented environmentGain experience in various types of projects, from residential to large-scale commercialJob Type: Full-timePay: $85,000.00 per yearSchedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availability (if required)Experience:Bricklaying: 2 years (Preferred)Licence/Certification:White Card (Preferred)Driver’s Licence (Preferred)If you're passionate about bricklaying and looking for your next opportunity in a supportive, growth-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!
