The role
We're looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join us In this role, you'll work on a variety of apps and systems that help our customers run high-demand product launches. You'll collaborate with talented people across the company to build and improve the end-to-end launch experience — from the core backend services that power our platform to the polished frontend interfaces our customers and their audiences use.
What you'll do
Consistently write well tested and simple code to solve complex problems
Design and build high-quality systems in technologies such as Typescript, Node, GraphQL and AWS services (in particular serverless architecture)
Contribute to agile ceremonies, offering suggestions in daily stand-ups, retrospectives and other team meetings
Pair Program with your teammates, review pull requests and provide feedback
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback in a clear and respectful manner
Contribute to the ongoing support of product releases in production
Develop and support build pipelines and infrastructure, and own your systems in production
Contribute to engineering guilds, actively sharing knowledge, ideas and experience
Use written, verbal and visual communication to facilitate technical discussion and share ideas
Participate in an on-call rotation, supporting the team's system in production
Play an active role in building an incredible team culture of inclusion, collaboration and psychological safety.

We believe you'll succeed in this role if you have:
Some exposure to serverless architecture and DevOps in the cloud (preferably AWS)
Have experience writing tests and following clean code practices
Are a motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, fast-growth environment and who enjoys collaborating with an open mind and heart
Are passionate about all things software engineering and enjoy solving complex problems with an out of the box approach to challenge existing assumptions and achieve the best results
Have a customer-first mindset and love working in a cross-functional team that creates awesome experiences for our customers
