The skilled artisans at Heritage Stoneworks handcraft sandstone blocks for use in the maintenance of our state's most impressive historic buildings. Their work will also encompass the installation of these blocks on site, and all associated craft skills. It ensures that more than 800 heritage-significant sandstone buildings across NSW remain culturally significant and operational as schools, hospitals and courthouses.

The role
Our Stonemason (W4) assists with the planning and/or delivery of a range of assigned infrastructure project tasks, or may manage small scale infrastructure projects with low to medium risk and complexity in order that time, cost, quality, safety, targets and the organisational objectives and client expectations are met.
You will support the delivery of tasks to best practice requirements and by being responsive and effective in all client interactions, contribute to the capture of lessons learned on projects by participating informal lessons learned forums and demonstrate professionalism by undertaking professional development activities in consultation with business unit management.

Salary from $2,5615.60pf (@$65,388pa) + various allowances including tools ($80.60pf), all purpose ($73.20pf), fares and travel time ($31.30pd), (allowances will add an approximate $9,905pa) plus accrue RDO time in lieu
Essential requirements
* Successful completion of stonemasonry apprenticeship
* A valid NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays
