**The opportunity**
In being an advocate of technology, the Managed Services Consultant - Sharepoint will have a varied role, being involved in operational support, technology deployment, and will assist in the product development lifecycle.
- Respond to and resolve customer Incidents and service requests within formally agreed service levels.
- Ensure all assigned service tickets are updated at regular intervals as per internally agreed timeframes, and that the customer is kept informed of resolution progress
- Root cause analysis and reporting - provide recommendations to ensure elimination of potential recurring problems, and escalating as required
- Undertake proactive and preventative maintenance activities to ensure maximum service availability
- Actively identify service improvements and engage with the customer and other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvements plans are updated and progressed
- Diagnose and resolve customer queries - providing advice, and timely resolution or escalating when required
- Contribute to the development of documentation for sales, service delivery, knowledge base and good practice standards
- Actively participate in after hours on-call support rosters
- Undertake tasks as directed by management
**About you**
- Demonstrated experience developing and supporting scalable and efficient process automation and reusable components that can be leveraged across different lines of businesses
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing and supporting business solutions leveraging SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, PowerApps(Portal, Canvas and Model Driven Apps) and third-party integrations
- Demonstrated experience creating Web pages and customised SharePoint webparts using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and SharePoint Designer to deliver customized solutions
- Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and complex workflow creation
- Some experience with REST API integration, Azure Functions and PowerShell (SharePoint and PnP)
- Some experience with document management systems, planning and migrating contents to O365 (SPMT and ShareGate)
- Some experience developing functional specifications including Functional Design Documents and supporting documentation
- An understanding of core ITIL processes
- A strong desire to learn more about Cloud platforms and technologies
- Experience writing and updating technical documentation
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call roster system and availability to undertake support work outside of normal business hours from time to time
- Clear an Australian Federal Police Check
