Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Clerical Services Officer to join our growing team. We have multiple opportunities available for part-time either ongoing or fixed term and casual positions.

The role of the Clerical Services Officer is:

* Provide effective and accurate clerical support, including data entry, filing, record management, and mail services.
* Deliver professional reception and switchboard services, ensuring all enquiries are managed courteously and efficiently.
* Process patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, maintaining accuracy in patient information and activity records.
* Support the department with administrative tasks, ordering supplies, and preparing reports as required.
* Contribute to service improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance clerical processes and customer experience.


About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

* Experience in customer service, office administration or clerical roles.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and welcoming manner.
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn hospital systems and software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and flexibility.
* A commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and delivering excellent services to patients, staff, and visitors.
