Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our team as a Business Development/Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, develop new sales opportunities, and work closely with our service management team.
This role will involve:
* Developing new sales opportunities with Veolia Standard Plant and Service contracts, including key account management responsibilities for existing and potential clients with high sales growth potential.
* Maintaining sales forecasting and allocated budgets via Salesforce opportunities for customers and new customers/market/area to prospect.
* Driving the account review process, working closely with our Service management team, and presenting how the allocated accounts are progressing, new opportunities, account improvement strategies, financial forecasts, additional account needs, safety & compliance status, etc.
* Communicating and reporting at monthly Team business development meetings.
* Playing an active development role in Sales and marketing strategies for the business in line with regional targets.
* Preparing structured and strategic proposals aligned with customer expectations.
* Preparing and communicating opportunities to customers demonstrating real measurable results.
* To establish and maintain relationships with the customer's designated site contact/s at an executive level to ensure site account security.
* Building the QLD sales pipeline using new and established contacts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A strong desire to grow their career through a large global organization.
* Strong communication skills and highly effective relationship building skills.
* A Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline, i.e., Engineering or Science, etc.
* Strong knowledge of Sales processes and demonstrated experience in value/solution selling.
* A background in the Water Treatment Sector (preferably 5 years but not essential).
* Ideally experienced in cooling towers/boilers water treatment or/and waste water treatment, filtration, RO, and other physical treatment methods.
* Sales focused: Developed time management skills, well-organized, highly motivated professional keen to help the team grow the business.
* Customer focused: keen to provide high-standard support and reporting to the allocated customers.
* Excellent communicator with capability to prepare presentations, proposals, and documentation to a high standard.
