Based in Toowoomba, this is your opportunity to work for our Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP) Division, Australia's largest and only national ANP.
The Apprenticeships Field Consultant (AFC) is a multifaceted autonomous role, with the primary task of signing up apprentices and trainees into their National Training Contract with their new employer, as well as educating both parties about the supports and incentives available to them.
This extremely rewarding role is centred around relationship management and business development, with various stakeholders and customers, to facilitate the undertaking of a National Training Contract between employers and Australian Apprentices. One of MEGT's core values is Collaboration, a skill that is key to this role.
About you
You will be an ambitious, positive, self-starter with a strong background within the sector as well as a passion for building and maintaining key relationships within the community including:
1. Knowledge of and experience within the VET sector and the AASN program
2. Proven account management or business development experience
3. Excellent customer service and administration skills
4. Capability to work autonomously, acting with trust and integrity
5. Demonstrated ability to meet KPI’s and balance short term gains with long term considerations
6. Commitment to continuous improvement and receptiveness to change
7. Previous experience within the Job Active industry or within an RTO (highly regarded)
8. Current drivers’ licence
This full-time fixed-term position is available in line with the AASN contract ending 30 June 2023, with the possibility of extension.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake pre-employment checks which may include a National Police Check, State/Territory Working with Children Check, two reference checks, verify your right to work in Australia and confirmation of qualifications.
