Position Summary The Security Guard & Fleet Driver holds a dual responsibility for maintaining the highest level of security at our logistics facility and ensuring the safe, professional, and secure transit of valuable luxury goods. This role demands vigilance in guarding duties and reliability while operating company vans/secure vehicles on planned routes. Key Responsibilities - Access Control: Diligently monitor and control access points (entry/exit van doors, and secure goods in the van) for vendors and people around, verifying credentials and logging all movements in and out when out for collection/ deliveries to customers. - Surveillance & Monitoring: Conduct continuous monitoring of all surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, locks), identifying and reporting any suspicious activity immediately. - Patrolling: Perform routine, randomised internal and external foot patrols of the vans surroundings to detect and deter security risks, damage to property, or unauthorised presence. - Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations (fire, medical incidents, security breaches), following established procedures precisely (ie. SOP). - Reporting & Documentation: Ensure all security logs, transit manifests, chain-of-custody documentation, and incident reports are completed accurately and on time. Accurately document all daily activities, incidents, shift changes, and irregularities in detailed security logs and reports. - Secure Transport Operations: Ensure the safe transit of items by rigorously following established security and driving protocols during all collection and delivery cycles. This includes adherence to route plans, secure handling of cargo, and continuous communication with the operations base while in transit. - Client Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with high-end clients, visitors, and staff, reflecting the luxury brand environment. Required Qualifications - Valid state security guard license. - Clean driving record (mandatory) and a valid Driver's License. - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security or professional driving, preferably in a logistics or high-security setting. - Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and basic vehicle maintenance checks. - Strong observational skills and exceptional attention to detail. - Physical ability to perform guarding duties, lift/move cargo safely, and drive for extended periods. - Security Licence Requirement: 1ACE + Cash-in Transit 1C About us Ferrari Group is the One-Stop Service Provider specialising in the worldwide shipping of jewelry and luxury goods, providing high-end solutions for the warehousing and logistics management of Valuable goods.
