Job Description
We are expanding our team in Penrith and surrounding areas and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join us in making a positive impact in our community.
We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists of all levels of experience seeking full-time or part-time roles.
In this role, you will:
Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant.
Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
Support and advise on environmental adaptations, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
Recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications
Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and eager to learn from new ideas.
Desire to work in a fun, collaborative, and supportive environment.
Ability to work independently.
A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
