Role : Lighting Design Consultant - Full time - Monday to Friday

Skills and experience:

If you understand architectural plans and can visualize spaces, you're the puzzle solver we need.
A Bachelor of Interior Architecture or experience in an architectural firm is like having a golden ticket to our creative world.
Tech-savvy? Strong computer skills are a big plus.
The role:
Assist clients with product info, lighting plans, and selections—your friendly guidance is the secret ingredient!
Be the bright voice on the phone and email—answering enquiries with warmth and know-how.
Help the team update plans and create quotes—with in-house training, you’ll be confidently leading consultations and designing lighting plans in no time.
Take the lead on Allera Light’s social media—Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest & more!
Create engaging content—think posts, reels, stories, newsletters, and project highlights that show off our products and personality.
Keep our website and eCommerce content up-to-date and inspiring.
Pitch in with general upkeep and light cleaning to keep our space looking great.
Enjoy the freedom to grow—this role comes with autonomy and the chance to take on exciting new opportunities as part of the team.
As you gain experience, you’ll lead lighting projects from the very first design meeting to that satisfying switch-on moment.
We're looking for someone who:
Has excellent communication skills and a knack for building rapport with all kinds of people.
A background in lighting or architecture with the ability to understand floor plans and elevations
Balances working independently with being a team player.
Has strong computer skills – navigating the digital realm is your thing.
Brings experience in sales and customer service to the table.
Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
Experience in drafting or drawing up plans on a computer is highly regarded
A positive, friendly and helpful attitude with a clear customer focus and willingness to excel in your role
