This role requires an individual with expertise in tactical datalink capabilities and Variable Message Format (VMF) systems. As a Joint Fires Test Support Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the interoperability and effectiveness of these systems within the Integrated Warfighting Network.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, conduct, analyze, and report on VMF testing of ADF systems and platforms.
">
* Assist in the evaluation and validation of a wide range of ADF VMF-enabled systems.
">
* Set up and configure RF and IP-based systems for system-level and interoperability testing.
">
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test objectives align with operational requirements.
">
* Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to the development of testing procedures and technical reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Harris radios (AN/PRC-152A, 117G, 150, 158, 160) and associated configuration tools. Familiarity with configuration, operation, and TTPs of systems such as AFATDS, APASS, ATAK, DFCS, and DFSTS is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of VMF protocols, including Header and Data Link Protocols.
