**Key Responsibilities**:
- Opening and closing the clinic
- Managing incoming calls, appointment bookings, and greeting patients
- Patient billing, scanning incoming mail, and general front desk duties
- Processing Medicare, DVA, workers' compensation, and private billings
- Sending patient reminders and confirming next-day appointments
- Assisting with MyMedicare registration
- Importing/exporting patient records
- Ordering and maintaining office and stationery supplies
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and patient feedback
- Light housekeeping and other administrative tasks
**Essential Skills & Attributes**:
- Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office and medical practice software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle messages accurately
- Compassionate communication with patients and families
- Confident in liaising with GPs, health professionals, and their teams
- Efficient appointment management (scheduling/rescheduling)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible to cover staff leave as needed
- Willingness to learn, grow, and support team objectives
- Dependable and committed with a strong work ethic
