Your commitment to continuous improvement and your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks contribute to KBR's mission of operational readiness and creating a safer, more sustainable world.**This is a contingent position based upon contract award*****What You'll Do*** **In the role of** **Engineer, Electrical****, your duties will include:*** Studies, designs, specs, and services electrical systems.* Functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities.* Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.* Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.* Other duties as required.**Requirements:*** Must be a US or Australian citizen* Must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance* Must have a minimum of a BA/BS in Engineering from an accredited institution* Must have a minimum of ten years of electrical engineering experience* Must have a PE-Electrical licenseThis role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. *This position is expected to be onsite 100%.*If you're excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
