Atlassian is looking for an experienced
**Product Localization Manager **to manage end to end localization of Atlassian's product and platform UI.

You will be a part of Atlassian's Product Localization and Internationalization team, who are responsible for ensuring Atlassian's products are available globally in 20+ languages.

- Atlassian's Product Localization team mission is to unlock the potential of all customer teams globally, regardless of their language or location. We partner closely with engineers, product managers, content and UX designers across Atlassian as well as external language service providers to localize and provide Atlassian products into 20+ languages. We are a growing team located in both Australia and the United States and have partner teams located in Europe.

**In this role, you'll have the opportunity to**:

- Manage and maintain continuous delivery of product localization in 20 supported languages for a range of SaaS products.
- Manage and work closely with external language and LQA vendors to ensure smooth continuous delivery of localization, with a focus on high quality output and delivery SLAs, as well as driving continuous improvements to the localization process.
- Utilise localization Translation Management Systems and bespoke integrations to run multiple product localization projects simultaneously, maintaining localization efficiency and quality.
- Partner with internal product, design and engineering teams across the company and different timezones and facilitate linguistic query and contextual challenge resolution between internal product stakeholders and external language vendors.
- Liaise with marketing and buyer experience localization team members on shared vendor workflows to maintain localisation consistency of terminology, brand and tone across our range of localizable content
- Partner with internal teams and language vendor partners to prioritise and resolve localization issues reported by internal stakeholders and Atlassian customers

**On your first day, we'll expect you to have**:

- 3+ years of localization and multilingual project/program management experience with a thorough understanding of localization and LQA processes and hands-on experience with running localization projects in translation management platforms
- Solid experience localizing software and product UI strings
- Solid experience using Translation Management Systems (TMS) to manage localization projects
- A passion for working with language vendor partners, enabling them to take their language quality and service delivery to the next level, whilst prioritising and aligning on strategy and roadmaps with internal stakeholders
- A basic understanding of HTML/CSS and a good technical understanding of platforms, programming languages and software file types. Ideally, you'll also have experience with interfacing with code repositories
- Exceptional organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in one or more foreign languages
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening skills. You seek first to understand, but have the facts to back your point of view and don't mind explaining it
- A passion for shipping a great international customer experience
- A strong desire to be part of a team, to support your fellow teammates and to increase your team's impact
- Solid experience working within a fast-paced organisation with company and team level objectives and key results

**It's great, but not essential, if you have**:

- Experience using Smartling (TMS)
- Experience using Jira and Confluence to manage and facilitate teamwork
