The Role:
Surveyor/Cadastral Surveyor
This is a fascinating opportunity for an experienced Senior Surveyor or a skilled Cadastral Surveyor looking to focus on cadastral work. The successful candidate will be part of our Mackay-based team, working on a range of surveying projects.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and management to clients across the infrastructure and development sectors.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing, and manage projects from start to finish.
* Support Team Leaders and the Survey Manager in operational tasks, including resource planning and mentoring junior staff.
* Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
* CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH THE SURVEYORS BOARD OF QUEENSLAND AS AN ASSOCIATE SURVEYOR OR GRADUATE WORKING TOWARDS SURVEYOR REGISTRATION.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in surveying, covering various projects and environments.
* Proven ability to manage projects, with experience in client management, leadership, and staff mentoring highly regarded.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Proficiency with surveying equipment and software.
* Ability to work in complex technical environments and deliver project milestones.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid QLD manual driver's license.
* Eligibility to work in Australia or New Zealand with citizenship, PR, or a visa allowing ongoing work.
