Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Perform daily maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas, responding promptly and professionally to any issues that arise.
* Carry out regular preventive maintenance tasks as part of the hotel's maintenance program, helping to identify and resolve potential problems before they become major issues.
* Use our digital maintenance system (Quore) to log work orders, track progress, and document completed tasks.
* Assist with basic repairs, including patching and painting, pressure washing, cleaning HVAC vents, and troubleshooting problems as they occur.
* Support safety and security procedures, upholding a commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for colleagues and guests.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and maintenance areas at all times.
* Lend a hand with other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager, contributing to a positive and proactive engineering team.
Requirements:
* Hands-on attitude and strong willingness to learn
* Excellent communication skills, both within your department and with other teams
* High attention-to-detail and problem-solving mindset
* Commitment to workplace health & safety
* Able to manually handle up to 15kg without difficulty
