Account Manager
Digital Science sales professionals drive collaborative solutions to customer challenges, selling projects for end-to-end product, software and service capabilities which span complete scientific workflows. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for expanding the reach of our commercial organisation driving revenue growth within our division. You will also influence other functions, including product management, solutions development, and services, to ensure we meet our yearly targets. Your success will come from your work ethic, eye for business, relationship-building skills, understanding of key markets, and passion to achieve high-reaching targets.
**What will you do**:
- Respond efficiently and promptly to leads, customer requests, clarifies the customers' business challenges and provide assessment throughout the whole sales cycle.
- Establishes links at multiple levels and across all collaborators establishing initial solution credibility with accounts.
- Seek out new opportunities and expand existing opportunities.
- Build and manage the pipeline effectively to meet or exceed targets.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of our industry, our solutions, and competitive solutions, to strategically position our products and services.
- Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with our customers and partners, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the customer.
- Uses sales resources effectively and works as a team to lead sales opportunities.
- Contribute to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings.

Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in any life science field and or Computer Science or five years equivalent proven experience
- Must have proficient telephone skills, and effective communication ability
Role success profile:
**Experience**
- 5+ years' sales experience, preferably in the Laboratory Software Solutions, LIMS, ELN, SDMS working with industries such as life science, pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, food & beverage, and/or chemicals with knowledge of the laboratory
- Experience and knowledge of enterprise scientific software implementation
- Proven knowledge with commercial operations in complex sales cycles.
