Based at Glenside Mental Health Hospital, you will work with other Mental Health Nurses and on-call Consultant Psychiatrists to provide telephone assessment, triage, advice, and support services. The Emergency Triage and Liaison Service operates 24/7, covering all of country South Australia, providing telephone and videoconferencing support to community members, primary care providers, GPs, and country hospitals.
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, hold a current practicing certificate, and have a qualification in Mental Health practice. With prior experience in mental health nursing, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting consumer needs. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team, and be creative, innovative, and flexible in addressing issues within a mental health care setting. This includes the ability to use modern digital and mobile technology to deliver responsive mental health care.
